The 8,200 SF five level home located in the River North area of Chicago
A modern classic- steel framed open plan forming the center of the home. Private roof terrace with view of the Chicago city skyline gives the home owners a quiet in-town zen inspired get away and simple pallet of natural materials including limestone, zinc and wood. Interior design in association with Kara Mann Design, Chicago.

CHURCH/ JETT RESIDENCE- Michigan City, Indiana
Summer beach cottage for Chicago couple who wanted a compact sustainable get away from their hectic urban lives. Natural and local materials that offer low environomental impact. This 1200 SF , 2bedroom, 2 bathroom home has a full roof top deck. The complete John DeSalvo design includes 2 two story living room, fireplace, custom designed cantilevered steel stair both inside and leading to the roof deck, bamboo built ins and kitchen cabinetry. Custom interior and exterior furniture in collaboration with Lagomorgh Design, Chicago.

2626 LAKE VIEW- PRIVATE RESIDENCE, Chicago, Illinois
In town residence for professional couple who converted a three bedroom 1960 unit into a modern peaceful retreat high above Lincoln Park and a view of downtown Chicago. White oak floors and cabinetry with sliding glass panels let the space open up or close for flexability. JDD design kitchen, custom bathroom cabinetry and closets maximize space in this modern classic.

Award winning interior design from the Chicago Tribune 2006. "Innovative and inexpensive kitchen design" This 1100 SF South Loop Loft was featured on the 2005 and 2006 South Loop Loft walks and was transformed from developer standard to top of the line on a budget. Seen on HGTV "What you get for the Money" August 16 2009.

SAM KORI GEORGE/ SKG ATELIER, State Streets, Chicago
SKG needed to move from his vintage 1700 SF space to a larger one because of growing space needs for the successful exclusive Gold Coast Atelier. JDD transformed this 30 year old, once compartmentalized office space with acoustical tile ceilings and carpeted floors into a 4000 SF multi-function environment in which SAM KORI GEORGE could design, do business, produce his designs and sell his products. The new space has two dressing rooms, powder room, offices, kitchen as well as showroom, production room and storage. A new poured in place concrete topping floor as well as painted exposed concrete ceilings and mechanical duct work give the space that open, urban loft character. The ceiling painted white to make the best of lighting as fixture selection was to be high fashion as well as high intensity for eye comfort.

Sam Kori George was one of the seven finalists selected to create a gown to be worn by one of the trophy presenters at the 81st Academy awards on February 22, 2009. He won that competition. All his friends and colleagues are proud of him!
